I decided to go on brides.com and look for advice from other brides-to-be planning destination weddings. It seemed that everyone was doing things differently – paying for their guests’ trips (not an option for us until we win the lottery), inviting 100’s of people and whoever could go, would, etc., so I wasn’t sure what to do.  And just when I felt like giving up hope, I found her. My ray of sunshine, Nancy.

Nancy is a travel agent that really truly specializes in destination wedding planning. I emailed her for advice and went on her website, www.honeymoonsandgetaways.com to see what she was all about. I did my research to make sure she was legit and she was more than willing to ease any fears I had about using a travel agent that I found on the internet. Nancy then contacted the hotel for us, looked over the contract they had sent me and told me her reservations about it, and told me what she could do for us.

She offered us travel insurance, price matching, our own website, and no contract, just a small deposit for every guest as they book their trip through her. We immediately booked our trip and a weight was lifted off my shoulders. For a while there, we were emailing each other a few times a day and now that the ground work has been laid and we’re not talking as frequently, I swear I’m going through Nancy withdrawal.  I even invited her to our cocktail party back here next June, because without her, I’d be a stressed out mess.

Thank you!  Everything went well.  We had nice weather the day of the wedding and nice weather throughout the whole honeymoon.  We were even upgraded to ocean front rooms in both Maui hotels which was nice.  Anne was also very surprised by the roses in the room in Oahu so that was good.  We had a really enjoyable time.  We didn't really want to leave but had to come back to afford everything we spent out there.  Thank you very much for you help with it!

We had an absolute blast on our trip to Costa Rica and everything worked out great, except having to leave.

Just a quick note to THANK YOU for helping us decide to stay here.  It is truly paradise.  We were upgraded to a hillside deluxe gorgeous room.  We could not be happier.  It is gorgeous, relaxing, wonderful.  I'll call when we get back but I wanted to thank you so much.  I could not be happier with this place, and David agrees!  We booked all the trips, massages, and I'm headed to yoga right now.  The food, the beach, the service, all is divine.

Everything was PERFECT. The resort was beautiful. All of our guests were absolutely blown away by it. Many of them have already said that they plan on returning for future vacations. It was perfect for our group and had something for everyone. They upgraded every single person that was a guest of our wedding (a total of 49 people ) from the Lindo to the Maya. It was awesome. Since alot of us were on the same flight down, when we got on the bus to the resort they informed us that everyone got the upgrade. Our guests were so happy!
