For over 25 years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the travel and event planning industry. My journey took a significant turn in 2005 when I found myself at a crossroads. My career in corporate America was marked by a lack of flexibility, which made it difficult for me as a working mother of three boys. The rigid demands of the corporate environment left little room for the work-life balance I needed. This realization led me to make a significant change. I decided to leave the constraints of a traditional 9-to-5 job and pursue an entrepreneurial path by starting my own company, Honeymoons and Get-A-Ways.
Despite having extensive experience in travel event planning, I decided to further my education by taking courses on starting a small business.
I’ve had the privilege of crafting unique weddings and events around the globe, always striving to deliver exceptional, personalized experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Which much hard work, determination, and stepping out of my comfort zone, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition from esteemed directories like Marquis Who’s Who. My insights have also been featured in prominent media outlets such as Forbes, The New York Times, CNN, and MSN.
As a speaker and moderator on the international stage, my expertise goes beyond wedding and event planning. I’ve had the opportunity to engage with audiences of wedding planners, travel agents, consumers, and industry professionals, discussing a wide range of topics tailored to their interests and challenges. My presentations are more than just about event logistics; they aim to connect, inform, and inspire with meaningful and impactful insights.
Philanthropy is a cause close to my heart, and I actively support various initiatives in education, healthcare, the environment, and human rights.
Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues is what fuels my creativity. This collaborative approach has been a cornerstone of my success, allowing me to continuously evolve and innovate in the ever-changing world of event planning.
